Note:
1. In an English notice, the day of the week is written before the date(英语中星期一般放在日期之前), but in a Chinese notice, the day of the week is generally put after the date(汉语中日期一般放在星期之前). However, if the activity is to take place within the week, the day of the week often comes before the date in a Chinese notice: 周五(10月21日)下午.
2. For names of days of the week, we may either spell out the whole word (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday) or use the abbreviated form (Sun., Mon., Tues., Wed., Thurs., Fri., Sat.). It is also true for names of the month (January→Jan., February→Feb., March→Mar., April→Apr., May→May, June→June, July→July, August→Aug., September→Sept., October→Oct., November→Nov., December→Dec.).
The following are notices with more necessary information and details.
