1. Word formation: pro- and anti-

(1) pro- : in favor of/ support

(2) anti-: opposed to/ against

(3) Other meanings of pro- and anti-

pro (with noun): acting as  代, 代理

anti: opposition of  ...的对立面 preventing 防止, 阻止, 抗

Examples:

1. She was pro-abortion, anti-corruption, pro-low carbon emissions and anti-capital punishment, as fine a progressive liberal as you could find this side of the Atlantic.
