How to Read a Satellite Image
A satellite image shows current (当前的) cloud cover (云盖), with the white and grey areas representing (代表) clouds. This map is useful in tracking (跟踪) the movement of storm systems, particularly (尤其) where radar (雷达) data is not available (可获得的). All our satellite images offer time-lapsed (时间渐进的) loops (环). These loops are created by sequentially (继续地) presenting satellite images of the same area over a period of a few hours. This presentation of satellite images allows a user to see the general trend (趋势) of cloud movement over the past few hours. This can be especially helpful in understanding the movement of large storm systems. Some of our satellite images are colour-enhanced (上色的). Located at (位于) the top of the map, a key shows how the colour of cloud tops (顶部) relates to how cold they are. Occasionally (偶尔), the highest, coldest cloud tops produce the heaviest precipitation (降水). ***** Proverb ***** Unit Humor Man's Victory In front of a boutique [ bu:`tik
