3．感叹句的间接引语

1）保留引导词
"How wonderful it is!"
-- He exclaimed how wonderful it was.

2）改为称述句
"How wonderful it is"
-- He said that it was wonderful.

3）按句子原义灵活改写
"Thank you!" he said.
-- He thanked me.
"Happy journey!" my friend said.
-- My friend wished me a happy journey.

4．混合句式的间接引语：以上讲到的直接引语转间接引语的方法是极为典型和理想的。很多情况下，多种句式混在一起，这时就要适当调整句型结构或增减一些词语，使句子连贯起来。如：

"It is pouring with rain. Come inside at once," she shouted.
-- She shouted that it was pouring with rain and invited me to go inside.
"Are you interested in art?" the father asked. "Yes," the son answered.
-- The father asked his son whether he was interested in art and his son said he was.
"What shall I do with my dirty skirt?" said the girl. "You had better dry-clean it," said her mother. "Don't wash it in water or it will shrink."
-- The girl asked what she should do with her dirty skirt. Her mother advised her to dry-clean it instead of washing it in water; otherwise it would shrink.
"Let's go swimming on Friday. The swimming pool is always crowded with people on weekends," he suggested.
-- He suggested going swimming on Friday, pointing out that the swimming pool was always crowded with people on weekends.
