Mick
Jagger was born in 1943. The famous lips of
the Rolling Stones. Mick played in the group Little
Boy Blue and The Blue Boys while he was gong to The
London School
of Economics, but he gave up his studies to become
a rock star. Jagger is not only successful in his
music, he also played in good movies such as Performance
(1968), Ned Kelly (1969) and Freejack and Bent (1997).
Alice
Cooper was born in Detroit in 1948. His music defined
teenage rebellion, and his shocking stage shows featuring
a live snake changed concert technique forever. Alice
plays the guitar, harmonica, and piano. He enjoys
poker, cars, and even does a little painting. He loves
golf with a passion. The Coop’s first album, Pretties
for You, came out in 1969, and he became famous with
Love it to Death, which featured the hit “I’m Eighteen.”
Perhaps his most known song is “School’s Out” from
the album of the same name. Alice still performs today.
His latest album, A Fistful of Alice, was released
in 1997.
Janis
Joplin was born in 1943 and died in 1970. She led
a triumphant and tumultuous life blessed by an innate
talent to convey powerful emotion through heart-stomping
rock-and-roll singing.
