There are many sources of information. A few years ago
we relied mostly on books and magazines when we wanted to
study a new topic. But today's media - such as the Internet,
television, and the press - give us almost unlimited access
to knowledge about our favorite subjects. Now
many people get most of their information electronically,
from websites or email. Other people have always been a
good source of information, but now it's much easier to
communicate with them using modern technology. Some students
may even feel confused because there is too much information.
A good student not only knows how to find information, but
also knows how to distinguish useful sources from misleading
ones. That way less time is wasted in random searches.
