The Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL)
The
Centre for Lifelong Learning, which is part of the University
of Essex, offers an exciting range
of courses for adult learners of all ages.
Whether you are studying for fun or to gain qualifications,
CLL offers a wide choice of daytime, evening and Saturday
courses, as well as study tours and day schools.
We hope you will find
the right course for you. Courses are open to anyone aged
18 or over, regardless of qualifications.
Many students on our
programmes will not have studied since leaving school,
while others may have a degree but are looking to learn
about a new subject area. If you are worried about returning
to learning after a long break we offer a Study
Skills course aimed at easing your fears about
study techniques.
Courses range from
Art and Archaeology to Film Studies and Family History,
Creative Writing and Current Affairs to Media Studies.
The Centre provides a modern, well-equipped learning
environment on the University's campus.
