		百分数由基数词（或小数）和百分号（%）合成，百分号 % 读percent，如：　　5% 　　读作　　　five percent 　　0.6%　读作　　(zero)point six percent 　　100% 　读作　　one hundred percent 　　300% 　读作　　three hundred percent 　　百分数常常和介词by连用，构成介词短语作状语，如：　　Production was increased by 200 percent. 　　The price was reduced by 18 percent. 　　百分数也可单独作状语，如：　　Its grain output was 16.5 percent higher than that of 1996.
